　　4、表面變化層對模具表面質量的影響模具經電火花加工後的表面將産射出代工生包括凝固層和熱影響層的表面變化層。凝固層是工件表層材料在脈沖放電的瞬時高溫作用下發生熔化而未能抛出，在脈沖放電結束後迅速冷卻、凝固而保留下來的金屬層，該層金屬晶粒非常細小，有較強的抗腐蝕能力。
　　
　　熱影響層位于凝固層與工件基體材料之間，由于受放電點傳來的高溫影響，使材料金相組織發生變化。在加工過程中由于所選用的電參數，冷卻條件及工件材料原來的熱處理狀況不同，變化層的硬度變化情況就會不一樣。表面變化層的厚度與工件材料及脈沖電源的電參數有關，隨脈沖能量的增大而增厚，凝固層硬度通常較高。因此，電火花加工後的模具表面耐磨性比普通機械加工要好。
